The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of M.E.S. Arts and Commerce College, Mehkar was established in accordance with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to institutionalize a culture of quality and excellence in higher education. As the nodal quality assurance body of the college, IQAC plays a proactive role in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating quality enhancement initiatives across academic and administrative domains.
IQAC functions as a catalyst for continuous improvement by promoting innovative teaching-learning practices, research and extension activities, student support services, institutional best practices, and effective governance. It encourages stakeholder participation, systematic documentation, periodic academic and administrative reviews, and the adoption of quality benchmarks in alignment with NAAC, UGC, and Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University guidelines.
Through regular meetings, quality audits, feedback mechanisms, faculty development programmes, and strategic planning, IQAC strives to create a learner-centric environment that nurtures academic excellence, ethical values, innovation, and holistic development. The Cell remains committed to fostering a sustainable quality culture that enhances institutional performance and contributes to the overall mission and vision of the college.
